We are like waves, rushing towards the shore, moment to moment made up of new matter. This particle generating system attempts to explore this idea. A familiar ring form exists in a cycle of emergence and dissipation.
New particles emit on an ellipse in three dimensional space. A noise field guides the direction and speed of each particle. The observer drifts forward through space while witnessing a complex collection fall apart forever. Particles are regenerated when move out of sight allowing an infinite loop of destruction and rebirth.
Code optimizations and new hardware have allowed an amazing 100,000 particles rendered in real-time at 60fps. Particles are rendered as perfect circles with light alpha transparency.
